We have been back in Lake Charles for a week now and made it back in time for Mardi Gras.
Here is Aubrie, our granddaughter, enjoying the music and festivities next to my Aunt Dee.
Here is Sandi, daughter-in-law trying out the Mardi Gras head band.
My cousin, Sheila, is really dressed up for Mardi Gras!
Some of the revelers line dancing.
The police motorcycle group clearing the road for the floats. They ride down the road and then do a couple circles in the road and back up the road.
This first float is Sue and I’s old Mardi Gras krewe. Sorry about the glare.
A few Mardi Gras floats.

I also got the two rock chips repaired in the motorhome’s windshield, ordered a remanufactured desiccant cartridge for the motorhome’s air system. I need to change it every three years and this year is going on three years.
For the pass couple months I have been having trouble with the 12 volt connector on my supplemental braking system in the car. What happens is the spring in the 12 volt connector that makes contact between the fuse and the end piece that touches the 12 volt part of the cigarette lighter plug has been getting hot and collapsing. When it collapses it no longer makes contact and then it won’t work. I have been stretching the spring and putting it back it there, but it has finally gotten too weak to stay stretched. Since the supplemental braking system is made by Brake Buddy, I called them to see if they have a heavy duty spring I could put in there or if they have another solution. They offered to send me a new cord for free, so I will have to swap that out when I get it in the mail.
Until next time!
