We drove up the Natchez Trace from Hwy 82 in MS to Tupelo, MS. We stopped at some of the Historical Markers for Weston to learn a little history.

Weston on the actual Old Natchez Trace.

Weston wanted to pose next to the motorhome at one of the pullouts.

From Tupelo we drove up to Sherman, MS to Sherman RV where we bought our motorhome. Weston got to meet Karen the sales lady we purchased our motorhome from and I got a picture.

We arrived Friday afternoon in Red Bay and got set up and settled in. Friday night a rain storm blew through and dropped about 1” of rain in about 30 minutes. Saturday we met some of the our neighbors here at the Allegro Campground. One couple, Johnnie and Bobbie, from St. Gabriel, Louisiana was parked across from us. We visited with them and Weston really took a liking to them. Of course, they let him play with their Wii system and their iPad so I can see why he liked them.
Sunday, Weston and I went to the Red Bay Water Park and rode the water slides. It was very hot here in Red Bay, so that was a nice way to cool off.
Our appointment here in Red Bay is for Tuesday, but today they called me about 7:10 AM and woke me up. They wanted to know if we wanted to come in today rather than tomorrow. Of course, we said YES! So we got ready and moved the motorhome into one of the service bays. They fixed all the small things except for the material that is puckering on the front dash. The man that does all the upholstery was off this week. We will be going into one of the other bays tomorrow to repair either the wet bay floor or the roof rail radius areas that are showing cracks. I will know tomorrow which one it is.
While they were working on all our little items, Weston and I took the factory tour. I have been on the tour twice, but they have added the cabinet factory and the powerglide chassis area to the tour. I have pictures of those parts of the tour.
These are from the cabinet shop parts of the tour.
The long aisle full of all the different parts of the cabinet shop.

One of the motorhomes before being painted.

The transmissions lined up to be paired with the engines.

The front independent suspension.

The rear end of the chassis.

The chassis rails all stacked up.

The chassis after the welding shop and before the first stage of the production line.

A few more chassises. ( I guess that is a word)

After the tour we went back to the service center to check on the motorhome. They had finished with the small items and they had parked it back on our site, plugged in the electricity and put the A/C on. What service!!!
Tomorrow we might take the self-guided tour at the paint plant while they work on the motorhome.
Until next time!
