To all of our family, friends and blog readers we wish everyone a Happy New Year!!!!
New Year’s day was spent doing some maintenance and watching football games.
The maintenance I had to do was one of the things I hate to do…. the water in the toilet bowl would not stay there, so I needed to change the seal. It seems like I have to change this at least once a year to really fix it. I have tried a lot of other things to “fix” the problem, but only changing the seal seems to work and last. To change the seal involves taking the toilet apart and cleaning the blade valve and change the blade seal. Yuck!! After that nasty chore was done, I settled into watch the last week of regular season NFL football. Of course, our Saints won!!!!
On New Year’s day night, Trevor our oldest grandson, who was spending the night with us, wanted to set off some of his fireworks. I captured a few pictures of the fireworks.

Today, Jan. 2nd I watched several College Bowl games and finished up painting the background color for Sue’s signs. Now my work is done and it is all up to her to get them ready for Quartzsite.
It looks like I got a little paint on myself.
We have to finish up a few things here in Lake Charles before we leave next Monday, but this week will go by quick. I have a follow-up appointment with my pulmonologist Friday to see how much longer he wants me on Predisnone. Hopefully, not much longer or if longer maybe at a lesser dose.
Until next time!
