Sunday night we drove up to visit my old school friend Delery Guillory and his wife Kathy. They live above Scottsdale, not too far from Cave Creek. We visited awhile and then went out to eat at a great bar-b-que place in Cave Creek. Sorry I couldn’t remember the name. Here is Delery and Kathy in the foyer of their home. Check out the wild eyes in their dog. Crazy camera flash!
Delery we had a great time visiting with you and Kathy!!!
Last night Sue and I cooked shrimp etouffee and fried shrimp for Bob and Tizania Ruff since this is the last night we will be here in the park with them.
Look Richard, Bob is eating your share!
It started raining during the night and continued in the morning. So I had to unhook everything in the rain this morning for our move south to Tucson. On the trip south it rained the whole way and it continued while we parked the motorhome. It started to sleet a little while I was hooking up the electrical connection. Once I got back in the motorhome it started to snow!!
The car had about an inch of snow on it!
The mountains had snow on them also.
After the snow melted in about an hour, Sue and I drove over to Trader Joe’s to get some groceries. We then met our friends Dave and Kathy Peters whom we met a couple years ago in Red Bay, Alabama at the Tiffin Motorhome Factory. Dave and Kathy said for us to give Manuel and Connie a big hug when we see them next time. So Manuel and Connie this picture is for you!
It was dollar taco night at the Elks which Dave was a member, so we ate supper there for Valentines Day. Dave and I are big spenders for Valentines Day!!! (Actually Dave bought, Thanks Dave!)
We will leave here tomorrow and travel to Los Cruces, New Mexico to visit some more friends.
Until next time!
You know that I TRULY hope that Robert enjoyed MY shrimp..... Yeah, RIGHT!!! Keep having fun, looks like you are still having a good winter trip. We are heading to Red Bay on Feb 29.
