Wednesday we were invited to attend a bar-b-que (California style – which means hotdogs and hamburgers) at Pat and Henry’s place. We worked with Pat and Henry at the Sugar Beet Harvest a couple years ago. They are old friends of Ed and Lavaughn. They also worked at Adventureland with Ed, Lavaughn, Terry and Vicky.
After most of us had finished eating, we had some really good live entertainment. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but he was really good!
We stayed until it got too cold for us too stay outside. One thing about Quartzsite weather is that it is really nice and warm during the day (around 75) and once the sun goes down it cools off quick (around upper 40’s).
Today we went shopping at one of the many flea markets in the Yuma area and got a few items we absolutely had to have!
The evenings we spend playing card games or dominoes with Ed, Lavaughn, Terry, Vicky, Sue and I. I don’t think I have won one game!
