Yeah we are still out in Arizona enjoying the great weather! One afternoon this guy in this para-glider flew by us.
When we were at the “burger bash” the other day with Jag and Bev, Sue got free tickets for some entertainment back here at the Palms RV Resort. So Saturday we went back to enjoy Barney (a juggling comic) and Rhythm and Rhyme (music and comedy). They entertained for about an hour and a half and they were pretty good. I wish I could have remembered some of their jokes. I took pictures, but since we were on the last row (remember free tickets) they didn’t turn out well so I won’t post them.
Here are couple pictures of Ed and Lavaughn place where we have been staying for the last couple weeks.

One night we were invited by Ray and Betty for supper at their place. The food was very good, but the dessert was even better. We had “wall dingers” for dessert. Ray had these large wooden dowels with holes drilled in them with small dowels coming out of them. You then get the regular grand biscuits and push them down over the large wooden dowels and then “bake” them over the fire. Here is Terry trying to get his biscuit down over the dowel. You have to make sure there are no holes in it.
He finally got it on and now he baking it.
Once you get it baked, you remove it and them fill the inside with pudding, whip cream, chocolate syrup, etc.
I love the way the sunset reflects off of the foothills here in Yuma.
Friday we left and drove to Gold Canyon, AZ which is on the southeast side of Phoenix. We have friends that are staying at the Arizonian RV park, which is where we are staying. We also have friends that live up above Scottsdale, whom we plan to visit Sunday night.
Bob and Tiz invited us for supper Friday night in their motorhome.
We went to a fine art show in the parking lot of a local grocery store.
Sue and I went to eat out with Bob and Tizania at a Chinese restaurant on Saturday that was very good. I took this picture for my buddy Richard to show him what he was missing.
Tonight we are going to meet Delery and Kathy Guilllory for supper. I went to junior high (middle school now a days) school with Delery back in Lake Charles. They live up above Scottsdale near Cave Creek, which is where we are going to go out in eat. I will have more pictures tomorrow. Monday we have an appointment to get the motorhome washed here at the RV park. Our plans are to leave here on Tuesday morning and head to Tucson to visit more friends.
